There's a lot of good Divisions out there: Division 1, 2, 3, NAIA, and JUCO. Which division is best for you? It depends on what your needs and necessities are. If you want to go and play, sometimes you may not be ready to play at Division 1, but you are going to have a good opportunity to get a great degree and play in Division 2. Sometimes what you need is a division with a lot less restrictions for your specific situation, in that case NAIA is the solution. It varies from player to player. One thing is for sure, your college recruitment is NOT a part of your life you want to take lightly. 

The ideal time to start your recruiting process is Grade 10 (Sophomore year of High school). Reason is, it gives you time and space to not be pressured into the school you want to end up in. If you're starting your process in grade 12, it can still happen but you are going to have to be on the ball and working every day to give yourself the best opportunity. This could be the most important decision of your life, DON'T WAIT.

With over hundreds of schools, there are plenty of opportunities. HOWEVER, don't expect offers to just come to you. There are a lot of things that you can do as player to put yourself in the best situation to receive the best possible offer.
